René Espinosa, 75, passed away on June 14, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Diana Espinosa; children, René Cesar (Nancy) Espinosa, Erika Espinosa, Orlando (Harley) Espinosa, Joe Gant, Chris Johnson, and Amy Rodriguez; brothers, Beto, Arturo (Martha), Fred (Rosa) and Mario (Rosa); grandchildren, Alexis, Alyssa, Brianna, Jasmine, Jayden, Devin, Elliana, Destiny, Reginald, Angel, Gabriela, Javier and Jack; great-grandchildren, Christian Anthony, Noah, Ana-Lei and Nalani; and numerous other relatives.
Preceded in death by brothers, Pepe and Gustavo; and sister, Conchita Sandoval.
René was born to Santos and Catalina Espinosa on Sept. 3, 1947, in Edinburg, Texas. He worked and retired from the postal service as a letter carrier.
René was an avid sports fan, and baseball coach, and collected baseball cards. He most enjoyed spending time with his family.
Cremation by Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial Mass, 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 11th and Grand. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens. Online condolences, www.MontgomerySteward.com
