Patricia Kathleen Campbell, 80, passed away on September 22, 2024, in Pueblo, Colo. Kathleen is survived by her husband of 59 years, Richard Campbell; son, Howard (Elizabeth) Campbell; and sister, Jeanette Ball all of Pueblo. She is also survived by several cousins, nephews, nieces, uncles, and aunts.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Mary Ebert; and her brother, Giles.
Kathleen was born on December 15, 1943, in Pueblo, Colo. She graduated from Pueblo Central High School in 1961. She attended Pueblo Junior College and graduated with a teaching certificate from Southern Colorado State College in 1965. She taught in Pueblo School District 70, in Walsh, Colo. and in Fowler, Colo. She was an excellent teacher and she worked both in team teaching and traditional classroom situations. Kathleen married Richard Campbell, also a teacher, in June of 1965 and they have one son. The couple lived in several Colorado towns including Vilas, Cripple Creek, Fowler, and Pueblo West. Kathleen battled with Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years. For the last 10 years, she lived at the Villa Pueblo and then at the Life Care Center of Pueblo.
Kathleen was know for her impish humor. She loved sewing, crochet, playing cards, sweet, and her favorite color was purple.
Cremation has taken place in the Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. There will be no services.

Richard, Jeanette & family: I’m so sorry to hear of Kathleen’s passing. She was such a sweet, kind person and will be missed by many. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. I’m sure her parents and Giles have welcomed her with open arms to watch over everyone. RIP Kathleen.
