I’m so sorry….May your soul forever rest in peace….Gramfam
You’ll be greatly missed.
“O God, you are the one who looks way down deep inside of all of us. You see and know what no one knows, no one at all except we ourselves… Today, those of us who are struggling inside – who’ve been broken and hurt and still feel the tears within – we thank you for being there and sharing with us what we cannot bear alone.”
Rest easy, big man. It was an honor serving with you and having someone to talk to about our beloved Cajun food, and NOLA in general, on deployment.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
II Corinthians 1:3-4 NKJV
He was one of the chillest guys I’ve ever met. I don’t think I ever heard him raise his voice. So sad.

I’ll never forget when we came back from our first mission in Iraq and we were walking to the tent and he was walking passed us with a big ole smile on his face saying “y’all get your cherry popped”. We all smiled.
My prayers and condolences go out to the family and friends.
R.I.P. Holmes

Your brother Nate.
