Gabriel M. “Gabe” Gradisar, 93, passed away on Aug. 27, 2023. Survived by his children, Jean Gradisar, Mark (Tina) Gradisar and Matt (Suzi) Gradisar; grandchildren, Anna Munoz, Stephanie and Alan Schrock, Daniel (Lauren), Emily (Clint) and Luc Gradisar; great-grandchildren, Makrina, James and Nicholas Gradisar and Sandra and Jackson Schrock; sister, Ann Lennon; brother-in-law, John (Gloria) Garnett; sisters-in-law, Kathy, Jane and Doris Garnett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Gradisar; parents, Anton and Anna Gradisar; grandchildren, Jonathan Munoz, Madison, Maxx and Miranda Gradisar; brothers, Joe, Stan, Walt (Marge), George, Henry (Jane), Tony and Fran Gradisar; sisters-in-law, Betty, Lila and Ramona Gradisar; and brothers-in-law, Thomas, James, Robert and Ray Garnett.
Gabe was born on Feb. 23, 1930, in Pueblo. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired as a social worker. He was the best blood sausage and klobasi maker. Gabe’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
At his request, there will be no services. Cremation by Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice, 1920 Valley Dr., Pueblo, CO  81008. Online condolences, www.MontgomerySteward.com

  1. Mr. Gradisar always brightened the world and the people he met. I recall that every single time we have visited, his smile initiated smiles on all who were around him!

  2. Many years ago, I joined in some family parties when Fran and Linda were married. Gabe was such a great guy and we had many laughs!!

  3. Our love and care goes out to Jean, Mark and Matt….Gabe Gradisar was a remarkable husband, father ,grandfather and friend. His generousity knew no bounds… ! Our families were bound by our children’s care for each other for over 50 years!
    He will be missed by many more than the immediate circle of family and friends ! Love to each and every one of you, and may you be comforted by the fact that your love carried him to the very end !
