Celebration of Life:

Beverly Jean (Dunn) Gervais, aged 79, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024, in Pueblo, Colo. She was born October 23, 1944, in Los Angeles, Calif., and enjoyed a remarkable life with her husband of sixty-three years, their three sons, eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Beverly was a lover of arts and crafts, fashion and jewelry, and the music of the one and only king: Elvis Presley. Her favorite pastimes were shopping, getting pedicures, and making sure the world knew how much she loved her family.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Genevieve Dunn, and sister, Kathleen Twineham. She is survived by the love of her life, Edward Charles Gervais Jr; sister Cheri Davis; sons Anthony (Sharon), Stephen (Kathleen), and Patrick (Michelle) Gervais; grandchildren Kaleena (Jason) English, Emily (Rico) Alire, Matthew Gervais, Alison (Tyler) Gervais, Zackery Gervais, Kaitlyn Gervais, Garrett (Susan) Gervais, and Sarah (Liam) MacKenzie; great-grandchildren Shayla English, Ryleigh English, John English III, Madelynn Alire, Samuel Alire, Gabriel Alire, Iris Alire, Maya Locher, Grace Locher, and Layla MacKenzie.

Services will be held at 10 am, Friday, March 8, 2024, at Montgomery & Steward Chapel.

She will always have a special place in my heart. I couldn’t make the services, but I did watch it online. Yes, she did look forward to and love her manicures. We scheduled her physical therapy around that very important time❤️ My sympathy and condolences to all of you.

  9. Bev was very special to me. We met while working at First Interstate Bank many years ago and have remained good friends ever since. She had a beautiful smile and a positive attitude. We always looked forward to playing Bunco each month and eventually got Eddie to join us. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and loved her.

You always loved hearing about my work and my writing. I know the pain of losing you will lessen over time, but I’ll always miss you. I love you, Granna.

    • CandleImageNo amount of words can express the loss our family is feeling this past week. Granna, you were the beacon of light in our family. You loved your family with such fierceness. Being back to Colorado and feeling how empty it is in your home, not feeling your hugs and love anymore. My heart has never felt so broken until you passed. I’m so sorry I was never able to make it out to see you, but I know you knew how much I loved you. We have so many marvelous memories together from going to the casinos, the mall, my bridal shower, you meeting your first great grandchild.. too many to list. You’ll never be forgotten. Love you so so much, Granna ❤️.

  13. CandleImageShe’ll forever be my granna in my heart and mind, even if she isn’t here in person. I’ll will cherish the short but loving memories we had together while I was growing up. It still sucks that I never really got the chance to say goodbye or be there for her. I love you granna and I’ll never forget you.

She always found a way to look on the bright side and was always a happy person to be around. She loved her family deeply and will be missed by everyone.
