Betty Jean Minton, 92, of Pueblo, Colorado, went to be with the Lord in the wee hours of January 17th 2022. Born on October 14th of 1929, in Minneola, Kansas . She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Amzel Marshall; son, Jimmy Dale Minton; husband, James Minton; grandson, Keith Timothy Minton; siblings, Leroy, Wanda, Mabel, Lois & David. Survived by her son, Ronald Minton; daughter, Brenda Gutierrez; grandchildren, Brooke Bailey, Melanie and Missy Minton, Alexzandra & Wayne Gutierrez; great-grandchildren, Breezlynn Bailey, Jeremiah , Caleb and Jazzlynn Gutierrez, Aubryanna Trujillo, Michael and Daxton Minton; and great-great grandson, Martin Marcado Jr. Siblings, Kathy Martin, Royce (Kate) Marshall, Dennis (Loise) Marshall; close friends, Carol & Elaine and her wonderful neighbors.
Betty had a passion for cooking, whether it was apple pie from scratch or homemade noodles, her family was never disappointed. She enjoyed reading, sewing and making pinecone wreaths for Christmas.
