Born in: Mohnton, Pennsylvania
Resided in: La Junta, Colorado

Kent Alan Miller, 92, was reunited with his wife, Shirley Mae Miller, on February 23, 2025. Kent was born in Mohnton, Pennsylvania on May 2, 1932, to C. Leroy and Edna (Reitz) Miller. Over the entirety of his life, Kent was a man who stood by the commitments he made and showed loyalty and love to his family and friends. His integrity led to him being married to one woman for 68 years, dedicating his working life to serving in the United States Air Force, and loving Jesus.

Kent and Shirley were high school sweethearts and graduated from Mohnton High School (Pennsylvania) together in 1950. They  exchanged vows on June 7, 1952 and remained married until her death in October 2020. Kent retired from the United States Air Force as a Chief Master Sargent after 30 years of honorable service. After his retirement from the United States Air Force, he worked as a Logistics Engineer with Lockheed Martin. Kent was a man of faith and gave his life to Jesus. This faith was shared by Shirley, and the two of them are now together once again with no pain or sorrow.

Kent was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Maran Miller; brother, William Miller; and daughter, Shirlene Miller.

Kent is survived by two children, Carlene (Roger) Albin and Royce (Beth) Miller; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.

Kent loved travelling, fishing, hunting, golf, Texas Roadhouse, collecting coins, his family, and the United States of America.

He will be laid to rest with his wife at 9 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2025, at Pikes Peak National Cemetery with full military honors by the U.S. Air Force High Frontier Honor Guard. A celebration of life service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at New Life Bible Church, 2320 S. Prairie Ave., in Pueblo.
