The highlight of Bernie’s singing career was performing and recording with The Pueblo Chorale at Carnegie Hall.  Bernadine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her family was the most important aspect of her life.  Bernie “Nanny’s” pride and joy were her grandchildren. Bernadine never knew a stranger and all who were blessed to know her were touched by her kindness, huge heart and loving spirit. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.

  1. Your Mom and Dad were are neighbors and friends for so many years..your Mom was a lovely lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    • Leslie – Thank you for your lovely words. We had an amazing childhood on University Circle. I greatly appreciate your kind comments.

  2. CandleImageI loved Aunt Bernadine! She had a great laugh and was always so much fun to be around. When I was 16, she was the only brave adult to go on the carnival ride “The Zipper” with me at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo. I will really miss her.

  3. CandleImageAunt Bernadine was the fun Aunt. She will be missed but I know my dad (Courtland) was there to greet her. Love and hugs to my cousins.

  4. CandleImageI remember Bernie fondly as I was a Pueblo Choral Society member while she was our sunshine chairman who kept up with ill members, sent cards, and was fun to be around.

  5. Bernadine was married to my cousin. I haven’t seen her for years but I remember her being the nicest person in the world.
