Alice I. Nesselhuf, 83, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend passed away February 3, 2025, in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born March 3, 1941, in Crowley County near Olney Springs, Colorado to Hayden Clifton Ross and Catherine Lou (Butler) Ross. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Daniel H. Nesselhuf, her three sisters, Eula May “Sue” Mclanahan, Wilma (Bob) Pfeiff, and Judy (Bob) Krasovec.
Alice was passionate about the farm she was raised on, rodeos, and gardening. She loved to share stories about her family and its rich history and always had a gardening tip or two. Alice had a knack for remembering birthdays, anniversaries, and other important dates, never failing to send a card!
Alice is survived by her son Steve (Pam) Nesselhuf, her grandchildren Paige (Curtis) Cunningham, Craig (Erin) Nesselhuf, and her great-grandchildren Jason and Ella Cunningham, and Mason Nesselhuf. Alice is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Per Alice’s request, there will be no funeral service, however, there will be a Celebration of Life luncheon in her honor February 28, 2025, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Montgomery & Steward Reception Hall, 1317 N Main St, Pueblo, CO 81003. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at pulmonaryfibrosis.org. Online condolences, www.MontgomerySteward.com
