83 years of loving life, seeking adventures, and becoming a warrior, Betty Lou Sanders has been called home to be with the Lord, family, and Elvis.
She was preceded in glory by parents and family of the greatest generation.
Betty is survived by her sons, Ralph (Pam) Sanders and Rick (Molly) Sanders; grandchildren, Ricky (Lupe) Sanders. Jere (Jennifer) Carlstrom. and Amy (John) Voss; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Lasheya, and Amora Sanders, James, Joshua, Daniel, Ezekiel, Elijah Voss, and Wesley and Douglas Carlstrom; family, and friends of the luckiest generation. Betty managed the Star Bar & Grill in the ’70s and ’80s, drove big rig semi trucks cross country, was an actress in Las Vegas, and was part owner and operator of Kangaroo Express of Southern Colorado with her best friend, Apple. Betty enjoyed adventure, thrill-seeking, sky diving, bungee jumping, and airplanes, but most of all enjoyed time spent with family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed time with her special friends in Las Vegas.
