Patricia Ann Chiaro Conci
Our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Patricia Ann Chiaro Conci, 90, passed away on November 30, 2022, after a brief illness. In 2003, her husband of 50 years, Henry L. Conci, preceded her in death. In 2008, she met Dr. Richard Lipp, a retired professor of English at the University of Southern Colorado, became companions and remained living together in Pueblo until her death.
Born May 17, 1932, she grew up on a five-acre farm in Brewster, Colorado. Pat attended St. Scholastica Academy for Girls in Canon City, Colorado, and graduated from Florence High School in Florence, Colorado. She began her working career at Ideal Cement Company in Portland, Colorado. and later was employed by Colorado Refractories and the Fremont County Treasurer’s Office in Canon City, Colorado. After she and Henry moved to Pueblo in 1972, she worked in the Pueblo County Assessor’s Office and eventually retired from District 60 Public Schools with more than 25 years of service.
Pat loved gardening, hosting family dinners, and making pizzelles during the Christmas holidays. She was proud of her Italian heritage and her family was always her first priority.
Preceded in death by her mother and father, Elizabeth and Dominic Chiaro; brothers and sister, Dominic Jr., Bernard, Gerald, and Betty Chiaro and grandchild Ryan O’Connor.
Survived by her life partner, Dr. Richard Lipp; son, Henry “Bud” (Patricia) Conci; daughters, Gayle Conci and Stephanie (Matthew) Davis; grandchildren, Cory and Morgan Lucero, Caitlin Conci, Cole (Elizabeth) Conci, Emily Davis and Tyler (Emily) Davis; great-grandchildren, Jake Davis, Madalyn and Laura Segura, Clementine and Callahan Conci and Kennedi Lucero, brother, Rocco (Gloria) Chiaro and numerous nieces and nephews.
The memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 5th in Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors Chapel. Lunch to follow in the banquet hall. Online condolences, www.MontgomerySteward.com
